How to Move Jobs to History
What you can Expect to Learn:
- In the "Job Cost Options," under Tab 4 for history, you can enable the function to retain job cost history and specify how many years to retain it.
- To close a job, change the job status to "Complete" and ensure the actual percent complete is 100. Then, run the "Job Closeout Register" to finalize the job's costs.
- In the "Job Cost Period and Processing," if the "Job Cost History" option is checked, closed status jobs are moved to history. Otherwise, closed status jobs are purged.
- If needed, jobs can be restored from history using the "Restore Job History Utility" in "Job Cost" under "Utilities."
