DSD Honored as Bob Scott’s 2018 VAR Star!
DSD Business Systems has been honored as 2018 VAR Star once again!
The latest issue of Bob Scott’s Insights was recently released including the highly sought after list of 2018 VAR Stars. This year’s list of Bob Scott’s Top 100 VARs comes at a time of dramatic change to the business software solution landscape. With larger VAR firms becoming larger and competition escalating from the publishers, all must remain flexible with the movement of the business from reliance on servers to the cloud.

The selection of mid-market accounting software VAR firms for Bob Scott’s VAR Stars rest on one basic principal: QUALITY, not revenue, as the deciding factor in picking the 100 businesses that are selected for this honor.

A variety of criteria go into the definition of quality including product lines, variety of services offered, and awards received from software solution publishers, such as the Microsoft Dynamics President’s Club and Inner Circle, and the Sage President’s Circle, Million Dollar Club and Chairman’s Club of Sage North America, many of which DSD has been awarded with throughout the last 35 years.
Growth, leadership in the industry, development of additional enhancements and acceptance of important software products by the VAR firms are all factors in the selection. There is also an effort to represent as many software publishers as possible so DSD’s partnerships with Acumatica Cloud ERP, Sage Business Cloud, Sage Intacct and Microsoft Dynamics 365 commanded a very high level of talent and expertise.
