DSD Business Systems 2014 Year in Review
DSD Business Systems has had a pretty remarkable year in 2014. Highpoints include launching new products, changing our office location, and celebrating a milestone year. As 2015 approaches, we’d like to reflect on what an amazing year it has been. Here is a list of top 5 highlights from 2014.
Sage President’s Circle
In July 2014, DSD Business Systems received a top recognition from Sage North America, by receiving the Sage President’s Circle award. This award recognized top performing business partners for Sage Software. DSD Business Systems had the opportunity to be recognized during Sage’s annual event, Sage Summit 2014. New Office Location
As the year continued, DSD Business Systems moved corporate office locations in San Diego. We traveled about a 6 minute drive from our previous location, but transitioned into a much wider space, which allowed for more staff interaction and communication. Everyone has enjoyed the open office space and large windows that allow the sunshine to brighten up our offices and attitudes.
InstaDocs
The DSD Development team launched a new Sage 100 ERP Enhancement, called InstaDocs. The product was officially launched at Sage Summit 2014 and gained popularity right away. This document management tool allows electronic documents to be stored, viewed and accessed, without having to navigate outside of Sage 100 ERP.
MyHostedDSD
As the cloud gained popularity this year, DSD released a new cloud hosting service, MyHostedDSD. Using Amazon Web Services (AWS), MyHostedDSD has the ability to be used for all Sage ERP and CRM products. The benefit to MyHostedDSD is that it works well with heavily modified systems, third-party products, and with multiple user access.
30th Anniversary
Probably the biggest highlight of 2014 had to be that DSD Business Systems celebrated it’s 30th Anniversary. Thirty years ago, Doug Deane started DSD Business Systems, which is still thriving and growing. It has been 3 incredible decades and we look forward to many more anniversaries to come. Here’s to 30 Years and Accounting!
